Antares have partnered SFC (Germany) and Simark (Canada) to offer DMFC (Direct methanol fuel cells) for use offshore. These fuel cells are ideal for powering sensors, communications and low power actuators for long periods (up to six months) without intervention. Ideal for remote marine applications such as the one photographed, which is deployed in the North Sea on Dogger bank.
