12V Self-Learning Reversing Sensor Kit with Visual Display.

The Stedall 998-1SL is a four-sensor ultrasonic reversing kit with a visual display and audible buzzer. Designed for larger vans, minibuses and specialist vehicle conversions, it provides complementary warnings to help the driver assess detected obstacles while reversing. Four Sensors with Visual and Audible Warnings. The system uses four ultrasonic sensors operating at 40kHz, with a stated warning range of 0.4–2 metres. The display and buzzer provide visual and audible information to assist low-speed manoeuvring.

Self-Learning Operation. A self-learning function allows the system to be configured for its installation. Follow the manufacturer’s setup instructions, particularly where a towbar or other fixed rear fittings are present. Extended Wiring for Larger Vehicles.

Extended wiring for the sensors and control box makes the kit a practical option for larger vans and minibuses with longer cable runs, helping installers position the components to suit the vehicle layout.
